What was the Han Dynasty daily life like?
Most of the Han society lived or worked on farmers. Farmers lived in villages near the farms were they work. their homes were usually made of mud brick and were one or two storeys tall. Only a few rich farmers had an ox or two to pull the plows, but the poor farmers had to pull the plows themselves.I couldn't imagine how tiring it would have been to pull a plow all day, Could you?

What kind of clothing did people in thef han dynasty wear?
Farmers in China would often wear simple clothing and sandals that was much like clothing today. I would have never thought people today would be wearing the same type of clothes as farmers from 202 B.C.! For China's warmer months peoples clothing would be stuffed like a quilt for warmth and made it look like they were wrapped in blankets, I wonder if that type of clothing looked like a coat. Most women would were long dress like clothing that looks like it wraps around their body.

What was the Han Dynastys goverment like?
Liu Bang kept the Qin policies strong Central Government, but lowered taxes which probably made a lot of people happier. In order to work for the government the citizens would have to pass a test they were required to take, much like the U.S. today. He also made punishments less harsh. One rule Liu had was, peasant men owed the government a month of labor per year on the emperors public projects. There were many types of labor Liu Bang would put people to work at included, building roads and canals and irrigation projects. In my opinion I would rather live in the Han Dynasty than the Qin Dynasty.
